Children's Care

Alternative care for children has been part of our practice since 1982. Since all of our methods are non-forceful and non-invasive, we safely and responsibly care for newborns on up. We have seen consistent success in the treatment of children with conditions such as: colic, chronic ear infections, allergies, ADD, ADHD, sensory integration, asthma, food sensitivities, spine and hip problems, scoliosis, headaches, back pain, foot and ankle problems, to name but a few. As is the case with adults, we are able to help children with their health whenever there is room for improvement.

"Because our treatment is non-invasive, children feel more at ease at our center."

If you have a child who is suffering from a specific condition and you would like to know what alternative care could do for them, we encourage you to make an appointment for an initial consultation. You can also contact us anytime via e-mail, or by calling our toll-free information line (877-275–3776).

In this way we can answer your specific questions and evaluate and discuss your child's particular health care needs.

Chronic and Recurring Conditions

Chronic and recurrent conditions can have a devastating effect on a person's psychological well-being, interpersonal relationships, income earning capacity, or any and all aspects of a ones life. The chronic pain, dysfunction and disability associated with conditions such as: Migraine headaches, Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Osteoarthritis, Digestive disorders, Severe allergies, or any unresolved chronic health problem, can make you feel like life is just not worth living.

Thousands of people, suffering from a wide variety of these kinds of conditions, have been helped at our center. Can we automatically "cure" any person suffering from any kind of condition? Unfortunately not, but we are able to help the majority of our patients significantly improve the state of their health. As health is restored, conditions improve and symptoms are reduced or eliminated.

Many people come to us after other methods have failed. They have been told that no help is available, or worse yet, that their conditions are imaginary and self-induced. One of the most unfortunate aspects of suffering from a chronic or recurrent health condition is the associated emotional stress that can result from it. Fear, anger, hopelessness, insecurity and indecisiveness can limit the person's ability to persevere until the right kind of help is found.

We hope that you find the information contained in these pages helpful and hopeful, and we encourage you to follow-up by writing, calling and consulting with us personally.

Untreated Injuries

One of the conditions that we often see in our center is post traumatic dysfunction. These are conditions that result from unresolved traumas, which occurred months, years or even decades earlier. Most patients suffering from post traumatic dysfunction, are not even aware of what the original cause of the condition was. Only through careful examination and a detailed history are we able to make the connection between their current condition and a past trauma.

In these cases the original trauma caused little or no immediate symptomatic change. To make matters worse, often times the person was told at the time of the accident by well-meaning but ill informed health-care professionals, that there was no injury or that their symptoms were unimportant and should be ignored. In time, their original symptoms did disappear, but the body didn't return to normal or properly heal.

If you or someone you know has been involved in an automobile accident or other type of personal injury, past or present, you need to be aware that symptoms are not always reliable indicators of the actual level of injury. Injuries can occur at the time of the trauma, which may not be obvious for days, weeks, months or even years later.

Injuries that have gone untreated will commonly cause a variety of health problems. Some of these symptoms may include; migraine headaches, muscle spasms or tightness, weak muscles, poor posture, scoliosis, joint pain and stiffness, nerve pain, circulatory problems or fatigue, to name but a few.

Nutrition As Treatment

Perhaps because food is so vital to our very existence, people feel compelled to be in control of their own nutritional fate.  Unfortunately, there's more to good nutrition than common sense and a desire to be secure and in control.  It isn't really very different from many of the other things that we have to deal with in our lives.  In fact we have to spend dollars to heat our homes and purchase the food that we are unable to grow.

You have probably heard the expression that if you give a man a fish he will eat for a day.  But if you teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime.  This saying embodies our philosophy at Cherubino Health Center.  We have worked with clinical nutrition as a form of treatment for 25 years.
We have profoundly touched the lives of thousands of people, one at a time, with each and every person being dealt with from the heart.  We know of no other practice or clinic that has given the quality of nutritional information that we have given to so many so faithfully.

I, Dr. Ron Cherubino, am amazed at the numbers of people that are considered authorities in the field of nutrition, that have taken the majority of their nutritional "insight" from information that we were using 20 years ago. I find it particularly disturbing that a number of these people attended courses that I developed and taught over the years. The problem is, that they seem to think that the details were and are more important than the principles. The reality is that people are profoundly unique. It takes a tremendous amount of understanding in order to apply principles to a unique person and not just some person that comes in off the street that you can categorize, and give pat answers to.

Also, many people today are lured by books, current radio shows and pop nutritional culture, which tells them that help is completely within their hands. It fosters the popular misconception that nutrition is actually very simple. The truth is that nutrition should be simple, but in this day and age it is anything but. Nutrition is complex. A person might as well plan to perform their own surgery than plan out their own clinical nutritional program. Sorry folks, truth is truth. We wouldn't have succeeded to the level that we have over the past 25 years if our services were not completely vital.

Positive note! We are friendly, affordable and workable. We give far more than the value of the money that we receive in return. I encourage you to set a time for nutritional evaluation, recommendation and follow through. When recommendations are followed, I personally guarantee it will change your life!

Preventative Care

Preventative healthcare is probably the single most important service that we render at the Cherubino Health Center. It is also, unfortunately, the most poorly understood.

Because of our conditioning at the hands of Western medicine (and please be assured that each and every one of us that has been brought up in this country is thoroughly brainwashed) we feel that there is either no such thing as preventative healthcare or that it is totally unnecessary. Small wonder, when we are taught that the temporary elimination of a symptom is considered the cure for a disease. Both statements are incorrect.

Because of the inherent ability of natural, holistic health care to identify, utilize and understand what are known as indicators, it is possible to identify problems, remove them and prevent their recurrence without any of the usual "symptoms" that we have been taught must exist if we are in need of, or could benefit by, medical attention.

Preventative healthcare of the type that we use at Cherubino Health Center, has been used worldwide for many decades with tremendous success and has eliminated the causes of future diseases, distresses and disturbances of the human body. Ask us how we can help you.

Intensive Care Treatment Programs

Intensive care treatment is preferable in a number of circumstances depending on the individual being treated, and the signs, symptoms and conditions they are exhibiting. When indicated, multiple treatments administered to a patient in a single day have a high rate of success in bringing about rapid and lasting changes to the body's nervous system.

Intensive care treatment also provides a distinct advantage for patients traveling to the center for treatment from long distances. Typical schedules involve being treated three to six times per day with one half-hour to one-hour intervals in-between each session. Depending on the specific circumstances and the desired results overall treatment may range from several days to several weeks.

Q. What is intensive care treatment?
A. Treatment is classified as intensive care when two or more treatment sessions are given to a patient in one day.

Q. What conditions can be treated with intensive care?
A.We have successfully used intensive care treatment with people suffering from conditions such as Cancer Support, Digestive Conditions, General Preventative Issues, ADD, ADHD, autism, PDD, fibromyalgia, Chronic spinal conditions such as stenosis, arthritis and scoliosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraine headaches and with various other conditions depending on individual circumstances.

Q. What are the benefits of intensive care?
A.The primary benefit to the patient rests in the fact that a greater amount of change can be made in a short period time in the fact that each treatment builds on the preceding one. Since our techniques involve reorienting and retraining the body's nervous system, repetition is a powerful tool.

Q. Are there certain circumstances in which intensive care is not effective?
A.Yes. Most types of musculoskeletal traumas and recent injuries are best treated in the traditional manner. Decisions to render intensive care treatment are made an individual basis and are dependent on patient history, current symptoms and the current state of the patient's nervous system.
