Meet Our Staff 
   At Cherubino Health Center, each of our staff members meet the exceptionally high standards that we have set in the areas of education, experience and professionalism. Each has a thorough understanding of the body's nervous system and its relationship to health and healing. With our team approach to patient care, we call upon the combined knowledge contained in: Chiropractic, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Meridian Therapy, Massage Therapy, Psychology and Nutrition.


Dr. Ron Cherubino, D.C., A.M.D., DACFE: Dr. Cherubino is a chiropractic physician and a Doctor of Alternative Medicine with certification in clinical nutrition, meridian therapy and neurolinguistic programming. He is the founder of Cherubino Health Center, a multidisciplinary holistic health care center. He has studied and lectured internationally on the principles of natural health care. He was a delegation member for the Ambassador Program for Natural Health Sciences to the People's Republic of China. He is a professor at Westbrook University where he has written courses in Health and Nutrition and Anatomy and Physiology for the Holistic Health Care Practitioner curriculum. He is a faculty member for the World Institute of Cognitive Sciences. He holds diplomat status with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and The American College of Forensic Examiners.

Dr. David Frederick, Ph.D., N.D. (Director of Continuing Education), Dr. Frederick is an internationally known lecturer and educator. He is a Doctor of Naturopathy, holds a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology, a Doctorate in Metaphysical Sciences and is a Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine. He is Dean of the College of Natural Health Sciences at Westbrook University, a course consultant at Regis University, adjunct professor at Boston Shiatsu School, a fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture, a Diplomat of the American College of Forensic Examiners and a Diplomat of the National Board for Naturopathic Examiners. He holds a Master Certification in Holistic Health. He has traveled extensively throughout the world studying the customs, religion and psychology of its people. Dr. Frederick was the delegation leader for the Ambassador Program for Natural Health Sciences to the People's Republic of China.

"He is on the Board of Advisors of the National Association of Transpersonal Psychology. He is the founder of the World Institute of Cognitive Sciences. Dr. Frederick is listed in the Who's Who of Metaphysics and Who's Who of Successful American Business."



Deborah Walker C.M.T. (Director of Asian Healing Arts): Deborah is a Certified Meridian Therapist that heads up our Asian Healing Arts Division. She has been instrumental in the inclusion of a number of highly effective integrative techniques at Cherubino Health Center from Chinese, Japanese and Ayurvedic (Indian) medicine. She is trained and certified in techniques covering wide and varied areas of study. These include Clinical Nutrition, CranioSacral Therapy, Kiiki Jitsu (KI Method), Herbology, Homeopathy, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), P.E.T., Auricular Therapy, Massage Therapy and Pain Management. Deborah's training has given her a unique understanding of the body's meridian and nervous systems, which enables her to help people suffering from a wide variety of conditions. These techniques provide powerful standalone procedures as well as being effective in combination with the other techniques practiced here at the center.

Linda Cherubino, BA, CM: (Educational Materials Consultant) Linda is a certified microscopist with training in nutritional counseling, homeopathy, herbology, and saliva, urine and blood analysis. She has a B.A. in education and since 1982, she has applied the principles of raw food therapy, acid alkaline balance, detoxification and nutritional supplementation in her work with children and adults. She has a unique understanding of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia and the nutritional demands involved in the management of these conditions.

"She has also taught and lectured on nutrition and blood analysis as well as the principles of wellness, health and healing. Her classes on " Children and Nutrition" have been extremely well received."


Lisa Zirpola: (office manager) Lisa is most likely the first voice you'll hear when making a phone call to the center. Many a patient has told us that it was Lisa's soothing voice and loving attitude that finally convinced them to come in for care. Together with her amazingly accurate memory, she keeps things running smoothly in our very busy center.
